anyone had the pleasure ? just had a run with one, must say theyre very quick.

coming off roundabout behind him in second just before lift, we both go for it he manages to push ahead couple of car lengths then another 1 or two before braking.

are these cars a lot quicker ? like the look of them leons too.

depending if its a cupra or an fr they go upto 225 brake i think so they are fairly rapid

my mate had a diesel fr which was 150 as standard then he had it chipped to about 185 it was rapid and had plenty of torque with it as well

be careful round middlesbrough mate there are a couple of black focus st that are unmarked traffic cars they are both on 06 plates

watch what u try it on with or u might end up with no licence

Had a run in with one a few weeks ago, i wasn't paying attention at the time and he booted it infront of me from about 10mph up to i would say 40mph. He was literally gone. I gave it a bit of welly after i saw he wanted to play, but i was no way near lift, and he was dissapearing.

I think they have all the power at 3k and above.

Unless you've launched properly i don't think it would be wise to play with them. lol

Marty32: They use black 56 plate M5's too. One on hangerlane gyratory i've seen it so many times, always pulled somebody over. I've had a play with a M5 once, luckily it wasn't a unmarked traffic police, but they are very fast. There is no running from an M5, even if you have an evo FQ series etc.. I haven't seen them for a few weeks, so maybe moved to another area. As it sticks out like a sore thumb.

the fr would prob be about the same as our T sport. they have 197bhp but are bigger and heavy.

the cupra has 236bhp i think so yer q car

I didn't see what badges were on the back, but it was an 07 plate.

I've seen a red one a few months ago that looked very souped up. Had a huge wing at the back, i think that was the Cupra R model, looked very chunky.
