Corolla 1,6 3zz At Lpg On Lpg Gas

Hi Toyota Owners.

My girlfriend would like to modify her Toyota Corolla 1.6 VVTI (3ZZFE) to LPG.

Many poeple are saying, that the engine is not apllicable, due to the fact, that the valves wil not work properly with gas and aren´t produced for LPG-mode.

What kind of experiences do you have with LPG, esp. with a Corolla?

And of course, there is no doubt, that you have much more experience with LPG than people here in Germany.

Is there Corolla 1.6 driver with LPG?

My brother drives a year 2000 1.8 vvti Avensis as a taxi.Had it converted on purchase 3 years ago and has done 80000 trouble free miles on LPG.The system he has provides some sort of additive which lubricates the valves.Although I service the car for him I have never had to touch anything to do with the LPG.I think the modern conversions work fine on most engines.
