hi,

im new to this forum. just bought a 2005 yaris t-sport about a month ago, well pleased with the car, easily best choice. just wanted some advice on lowering springs. i recently bought a set off of eBay, listed as offical toyota TTE lowering springs. they sed that it would lower a yaris by 35mm? only prob was that i was jus thinkin if that meant a standard yaris, is the yaris t-sport already fitted with lower springs? maybe the TTE springs i jus bought? your knowledge wld be much appriciated.

i put the TTE lowering springs onto my t sport before i swapped to coilovers,

they will lower it by around 30mm, and you wont get too harsh a ride either..

i was told the tsport was 20mm lower in the chassis but no one cpuld conferm it

these springs will lower your car but not by a great deal

mine came standard with these springs

they offer probs the best mix of ride height/comfort/handling

nothing suffer majorly

i now have koni springs on and the handling is unreal, right height is spot on but the comfort is a nightmare ! lol

if your not sure you can always relist them on eBay as people are always after TTE springs

and you can get a set ot teins, koni,TRD springs which are 35-40mm drops

or you can buy me some coilovers :) if you fancy it :P

hope this helps and let us no how you get on

i also have pics of my car with tte springs on if you want them posted up

Right this is the kind of difference you will get in ride height from Standard, TTE, Aftermarket 40'S

Day i got my car on TTE springs 30mm

Then this is on koni's 40mm

you may get a different ride height from your tte springs as you have a tsport

must say the ride comfort was a lot better with the tte springs thinkin bak

i got the springs changed with out telling anyone and gave my mam a lift and she noticed instantly she was being thrown around lol

hope this helps
