Question On Climate Control In H Reg Supra

my climate control has gone wrong, it will only blow cold air, occasionally i hear a click and get a temporary blast of warm air. Where is the temperature sensor in the cabin and also where is the relay located, i want to have a look at these first, the relay does not appear to be in either footwell panel. hope someone can help me diagnose and rectify the problem as the weather is turning and the car will soon be undrivable on cold mornings.

It will be either dry joints behind the climate control head unit, or the heater matrix actuator not closing!

Or it could be both those problems - I have just had the same symptoms, and in my case it was both the VSV valve, plus rather sad looking solder joints on the back of the heater control panel.

Both are real easy fixes (if you can use a soldering iron for the second one).

Ah - it's nice to be warm again. I've been driving around in for the last couple of weeks in the Finnish Autumn, with only intermittent hear.
