Any 4age Engine Gurus ?

hey guys, im new to the site,

just purchased a 1991 levin, gt apex, AE101 model

with the 4age engine in

wondering whether i could get any info from some car engine gurus here

engine goes well

and happily does 190kmh, (not that i make it an effort to exceed 100)

but on start up there is a strange, small tapping noise

now i know what it is because i have had similar problems with the nissan engine sr20de

But wondering how similar/serious it is with the 4age?

will a engine flush get rid of it ? or am i going to have to take rocker cover off and manually clean it

are there oil railings going over top of the cam that i could clean out?

i havent taken rocker cover off or any thing,

surely others might have run into the same problem

is this serious for the invincible 4age engine?

any info would be good

im new to toyotas i know my bmw motors inside out since i own 4 of them, and felt like a change

the 4age have hydraulic tappets after time they will start to knock

they cant be adjusted/ its nothing to worry about no harm is being done

unless its low on oil
