Hi, il try and explain this.

On the yaris there is a display that shows the time and temperature. etc

after pressing a few buttons it shows mpg and a few more things when u press the "mode" button.

Basically I cant get that info off the screen now. How do I disable it so it just shows the time and temp again.?

If you push the CD / tape button it will go back to displaying track 1 etc or No audio. With just the time and temp. The range is always handy to display below the time and temp though.

Hey I tried that but it didnt work, maybe because I have the aftermarket headunit plugged in?

That could be why it doesn't do it then, not sure other than that, maybe someone else with this experience can help.

Haha that is superb! Is that full comp or third party? I am paying 580 something on my R plates at 23 :( thou I also live in Northern Ireland, stupid rules over here!

if you've got an aftermarket unit there in no way to turn it off.

you can disconnedt the Battery or take your dash apart and take the wires out of the unit and plug them back in, these are the only ways I have found of getting rid of the mpg on the screen

ok mate, well im gettin the t sport on Friday anyway so I wont be worrying about it again.
