Hi I've a 2004 avensis TX 2.0 when turning sharp right there is a beep and ABS comes on on Left hand wheel applying the brake to that side only. It happens at low to medium speed

Anyone any ideas what's wrong as it is very disturbing. it's fine on left had turns. Is it a sensor on the wheel or something with stability control does it even with traction controll switched off.

thanks

You should probably get your steering-angle sensor zero'ed, as well as have the Yaw-rate sensor checked. ;) These two sensors trigger the VSC on you car.

it could be the abs sensor on the driveshaft playing up, sometimes the wire get too close to the cv joints and ends up tangled, just take the wheel off and see if you can see any loose wires,
