How Easy Is It To Turbo A St182?

had a guy come look at my car (selling it maybe) and he had his wee heart set on it being a turbo, but i was wondering how easy would it be just to Turbo it??

Would there be alot of work needing done or just a simple, slap a turbo on, upgrade cooling and oli pumps etc??

Hi Mate,

It would be alot of work to be honest mate.

You'd need at least -

Turbo manifold

Down Pipe

Exhaust

Turbo

Oil lines

Water Lines

Intercooler

ECU or E-Manage

And if you want to run anything over 0.4bar ish you'll need Pistons possibly Con-Rods aswell.

I've probably missed some things, but you won't get much change out of £2500-£3000 i would'nt have thought.

More than that with pistons and con-rods

It would be be better, simpler and cheaper to buy a GT4, tbh.
