Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has used a Vacuum brake bleeder system on ABS brakes with any success. The manufacturer of the one I have now says No, but the manufacturer of one that is ldentical to mine says "that is what they were designed for". Bit of a stumper. Any Ideas?

Cheers for any info

should be ok with the engine off.

switch it on and the pressure inside an abs system is high so im informed , so be carefull .

id run the engine and stamp the brakes 10 times, switch off , crack a nipple open and let gravity bleed them for you. do the brakes in a diagonal direction , good luck

Just use a traditional one way valve bleader and do it properly, with someone else to pump and ideally a throd person keeping the resevior topped up. they are under £2!
