6gc Child Seat

Hi all

There is a new member due to arrive in our family and naturally the the little tyke will want to ride around in our humble gen 6 celica.

We've got a while yet. ETA isn't 'til march, so no immediate panic, but does anyone have any suggestions on a suitable child seat. My wife's brother leant us one to play with, but it moved around around alarmingly.

and erm ideally it would be good to go in the back. Easily(ish).

Hello! First off congratulations, rather you than me! ;) If you read THIS thread then you will see that the recaro ones and the mamas & papas pro-tec are the ones to get, not saying that others wont fit but many have been tried, and failed. HTH

I had read that one but sadly all these listed are for the older types of baby. Baby mk2. Were going to need a very baby seat for a newborn to start with. At least for the first 6-9mths I gather.

Best be off to trawl the shops

Bad news is, no seat, no celica. :(
