Request For Help!

I’ve owned my avensis for about a year now and I still haven’t been able to identify what sat nav system I have :(

Please help me!...

It’s a 55 plate avensis t-spirit and it has the full screen sat nav that turns out of the dash with the little remote control near the handbreak. I know what software I’m running (2004-2005 European Map v2 on DVD) but I don’t understand what hardware it uses?... tns300, tns310, or something else?

There seems to be loads of info online about Toyota sat navs but it’s so confusing with the different hardware and software used across the world. I have read so much conflicting information about system numbers and how/where to find them that I’m just confused!

What I would eventually like to achieve is:

- prevent accepting the warning message each time you turn on the sat nav

- allow my girlfriend to edit routes whilst the car is moving

- and perhaps play dvd’s using the screen if possible

But in the meantime I would be very grateful if someone could just tell me what unit I have?!
