Also a standard corolla 2003 with front damage ready for breaking. Item number:260181736436

And lastly a 2005 model corolla D4-D with facelift lights and foglights Item number:320182144138

The last one has side skirts for 5 door fitted. Might be useful to somebody here?

HAH!! You should be a gold plated member of these forums. I'll drop him a message to see about a price and if he's willing to deliver :D

so how does it work do you have to buy the whole car then take the parts you want ?

or do we contact the seller and ask about certain parts?

either call him or email him with what parts you want and ask for a price. And as for leather seats, just ask him and see what he says :)

Oh well. He came back with £110 for the 5dr skirts, but he can't supply any of the screws etc and he won't deliver.

Check out eBay

search for 'toyota side skirts'

look for item;

TOYOTA COROLLA SIDE SKIRTS, TO FIT YEARS( 01 - 05 )

No screws etc but for £60 inc postage sounds good!

sorry linky not working

What about these on e-bay???

The link doesn't work but I know the ones you are talking about. These were my original target, but I was hoping that the guy (in armz's post) might be able to include all of the screws and plates etc that are needed to fit it. So looks like it is back to the original plan, and when I have recovered from whatever it is thats making me feel rubbish, I'll contact parts-king to see about providing me with all the extra bits and pieces because Armz has given me a list of everything I need.

LOL! cheers for the vote of confidence! I've always wondered what it takes to become a Gold Member, i guess thats up to the mods and can't be bought even with a paid subscription?

Oh, i've been on the lookout for leather seats for while now. Just don't know how good the condition would be if found in a write-off, not to forget the best bits are usually stripped before being put on eBay and sold elsewhere. Like the leather interior, full colour sat nav unit etc... I was after the full colour sat nav over a year ago, found one on eBay in a write-off, was even pictured with it, only to be given the run around for 4 days calling the breakers yard everyday, only to be finally told it got sold a long time ago.

I have the 3 door version of those. paid 150 all in 4 months ago from another seller whom bought it from Mel. All the screws/bolts/blanking plates came to around 70 odd pounds from Parts-King.

To be honest you want all brand new bits and pieces. The little grommit type clips aren't really made to be fitted and taken off many times. Lots of plastic clips etc.. Chances are the breakers yard just yank parts off anyway, so you won't have a tight fit once all fitted back. The parts are pricey, but it's worth it. Better to do a job once and properly, than twice and spend more money and most importantly time lost with the car in the bodyshop.

Cheers

The guy was pretty honest about it, he said the people who strip the cars for him just grab what they are told and keep/throw/lose all the little bits and pieces.

You'll do well to get leather seats out of a write-off boys, I expect most of them will have had the airbags deployed.

True if they were side-impact write-offs. As CTS's all have side airbags in the seats.

Just out of curiosity did the full leather interior ever come with matching leather door cards? or did it just consist of two front seats and the rear seat, with 5 headrests?

Cheers
