I've just saved enough money to get me some TEIN lowering springs, and i was wondering if i should also get new shocks.

The thing is where do i get the shocks and how much do they cost and which ones are the best to go with my set up

I've also got enough for 16" alloys Rotas :P

My car is gonna be coming together soon

Oh and another question i got a quote off Mr T for T-Sport side skirts and it was 160 w/o vat. is there anywhere cheaper?

Thanks

Sim

Is that for both? cos thats not bad price! I got mine off eBay.

Tein springs and koni shocks are best set up for handling, you can get koni shocks from demon tweeks.

My car has 15's and tein springs with koni shocks

Well cheapest is a custom one from powerflow/longlife.

You can go jap but your looking at £300 for back box, and £360 for sports cat/mid section, £160 manifold.

Where as custom one is about £250 for midsection and backbox.

koni shocks cost about £350-£400 for the full set.

Depending on what model car you have, you may need a custom exhaust.

If it's a 1.3 sr you can get a manifold and centre section, not sure what jap backboxes will fit.

if it's a 1ltr you will need a custom exhaust, but you can still get a jap backbox

it depends on how much you want to spend

jap backboxes are high quality, but cost a lot.

Powerlow/long life are cheaper but rubbish quality, the baffles may come out over time.

I'd say get a fujitsubo non power getter, which would propably set you back £300, or an rsr (not sure of price).

I think blitz do one for the 1ltr, which is cheaper again.

Wheeeey

My cars going in to Mr Tyres in Redditch to get a new Powerflow exhaust on Tuesday, no more rattling and a nice noise :D

Ordering the lowering springs today, i'm not gonna bother with the shocks atm cause i can't afford it.

Then sorting out the alloys next week

I'll keep you posted and put some pics up :P
