Looking For Some Genuine Interior Mats

I think yours is in "foul weather" mode but everything looks tickety boo in there to me! I see you have the obligatory drink in the door but can't just make out your toy in the centre console.

Oh goody, do we have another contest on? :D

It's not a drink, but I hope you all have one of these in your vehicle  I have two, the toy one in the door and a more serious one in the boot.

Also guess the centre console toy. Shouldn't be too difficult, there have been clues on here before.

Suggestions for prizes?

Cheers

Oh my goodnight nurse, one of our electronics experts has a car full of fire extinguishers

I will have another look at the other gismo :g:

I've decided the prize should be a digi camera with a few more pixels for you because it looks like a draft board if I zoom in to it :D

Is it a CB radio?

Ah ha. Just seen your picture on the car wash thread. Looks like a (very nice) unmarked cop car

In my line of work and I suspect in your previous line of work, the use of the word "fire" is now replaced by the words "thermal event" by some :D. You are of course correct.

Seriously, never had to use them, hope I never will, but you never know what you are going to come across.

Is it a CB radio?

Ah, there's no fooling a master is there? ;). I'm supposed to get all upset because you called it "CB" :D. Well some would anyway. It's amateur radio. The difference being we are supposed to know what we are doing, have to sit an exam for the licence (well you did when I got mine), have far more radio spectrum available and are allowed to build and tinker with our own kit. I guess for some it is just glorified CB. For me it's the build and tinker side that's most interesting.

You might say what's the point with modern communications and I would tend to agree, but then take something like the Katrina disaster in New Orleans, where most of the communication infrastructure collapsed and for a time the American amateurs were the only effective means of comms and were therefore saving lives. Crazy for a nation as rich and powerful as the US, but sadly true.

OK, sorry, end of lecture

You know, I though something was stopping me getting full lock on the steering. :D Cheers Chatman!

kingo i will pm you as i definately want some mats ;) the reason i havent been on for a bit is that i have been looking everyday for a rav4 for my other half lol. she needs a reliable car for her job and after waking me last saturday morning after i had been asleep for 3 hours following a 12 night shift to say her car had spat water out yet again (dont ask) i said "thats it you need a new car" well after having a go in my nrg she decided she wanted the same :) so all week i have been looking round for a 3 door mk2 rav ! after looking at some dogs (dealer trying to tell me the engine management light was on because the batery was flattened lol) we found one ! we wanted a different colour to mine ..... but the best car turned out to be ..yep you guessed exactly the same as mine, silver rav4 nrg lol so we now have 2 !!!
