Noise

Hopefully someone will have a idea about on going problem with my rav4. 96 automatic 2.4 imported 2001. When driving straight forward on road when i accelerate there is knocking noise driveshafts all ok had propshaft off and ok still get the same noise does anyone have any ideas please

Wow A 2.4, we don't see many of then around here.

I'm no expert but other people have mentioned strange banging noises recently and they have been traced to worn suspension parts, bushes etc. Might be worth a look.
