Tapping Noise On Start Up?

hey guys

wondering if this is just normal wear and tear

on start up, usually when cold, my 4age engine makes a loud tapping noise, for less than 10 seconds then stops

i think its just the tappets,

or maybe wear and tear, untill the oil pumps through the galleries.

does any one know how to get rid of this ?

or am i going to have to deal with it?

is it going to get worse ?

My MR2 also does this for about a second when starting from cold.
