Head Gasket

Hi all, not posted for a while, lifes been keeping me busy recently. hope everyone is well.

I've decided to strip my engine down this winter and replace all seals, gaskets etc and paint it all up. (nice)

Now i know that the standard st185 head gasket is a fibre one and not steel, unlike the st205. My query is would the standard 205 steel gasket fit on my 185 as i want a steel one and from what i have found so far it would be cheaper. But does anyone know for definate?

Cheers

essentially, TRD metal head gasket, ARP head studs, ST205 turbo, Blitz panel filter with resonater box removed, Aussie down pipe, blueflame exhaust and 0.95 bar of boost, along with a greddy e-manage blue which made a huge differance and colder Iridium plugs

loads of other mods but thats all for performance

sorry for the late reply, holiday season was madness with the kids etc lol. i got the TRD one from fensport, their last one and they said they weren't able to get any more.

an E-Manage is a piggy back ecu, controlls fuel and timing when on full throttle, modifications can be made to the set up to allow you to control all of the map however i never got that far in my R&D. there has since been released the E-Manage Ultimate which allows you to remove the AFM and gives you launch control and flat shift, this will be my first purchase along with my next GT4 but all that will be at leasat 12 months away due to other commitments
