Car Alarm?

Hi All:

Just leased a 2008 Camry LE. Just realized it comes with ignition kill if car stolen. But no real alarm. And the "signal" for the anti-theft device looks like an "open door" light. Thinking of installing a car alarm with a real LED light. Should I spend the $200 for this addition?

My 08 Solara has the same "signal" looking like there is an open door only. Can I ask how you came to realize that of the ignition kill if the car is stolen?
