high guys im looking to fit a induction kit to my Compressor... but need a lil advise

i know this might sound like a stupid question and apologies if this has been covered before in the past.. but im just finding it a lil difficult to a find a induction kit for the compressors.

so i was just wondering if i buy a induction kit for the t sport will it work on my compressor???

because i called a guy today at Jap Parts in Edgware road and he said they havent got an induction kit specifically for the compressor but what other ppl have done is fit a t sport one on.. saying that ppl have come back with mixed reviews about weather it worked.

could you guys please give me some advise one where to buy and which is the best one?

All replies would be most welcome..

cheers

shaun

I use a PowerTec kit which was good value at £99.

It is meant for the T-Sport but fits the Compressor just as well.

There has been some confusion over some of the breather(vacuum) pipes but there have been plenty of posts in the T-Sport section on this subject ;)

cheers buddy.. where did you get yours from?

when you said "blank" up the pipes... what exactly does that mean? tape them up?

and if i was to do the cheap way and just remove the restrictor and leave the standard air box in.. do i still have to remove the negative from the Battery to stop the lights coming on the dash?

or is that not necessary?

My first step was to remove the restrictor (silencer) and fit a TOMS panel filter which was good. I didn't bother with the Battery that time.

I heard that the sound improved with an induction kit so I bought the PowerTec from Adrenaline Race and Performance - 01933 315191

The kit comes with a rubber blank to block the one hole up but there was some confusion about whether to block a pipe up as well. It seems that you do!
