Hmmm, am I glad I have a 98 Rav 4...? Is Mr. T losing the plot in his quest for world domination? DMF, roof leaks, rear discs, clonks.... Toyota's used to be bullet proof!

I was thinking of buying a later model Rav... perhaps I will stick with what I have!

This is an interesting read.

That's what happens with collaborations, especially with money grabbers!

I'm glad my XT4 was made in Japan :D

Mmm.

Well I wouldn't like to pass judgement without knowing the facts. Is this a concientious, victimised worker who has identified some real safety issues as she claims or a militant pain in the @*se who will do anything to stop the line just because the fitting of these components is a bit more fiddley than she thinks it should be.

And as always in the USA it will be blown out of all proportion by some jumped up lawyer who just wants to make a name for herself. She should be sued $50m for making such a disproportionate claim. What kind of quality of life has this production line worker been deprived of for goodness sake? Ivana Trump earning a bit of pin money was it?

Absolutely ridiculous.

In fact they should be shot - the pair of them. After they have been fed through the bonnet folding press. And then made to clean the mess out on the way to the firing line.

And no last wishes either.......

My guess would be Toyota's philosophy and attention to detail is some what diluted, once their cars are produced in other countries.
