I wanna ship a car from the UK to Perth in Australia ..

Anyone know of any shipping companies?

Best bet would be to contact a removal company, they should have contacts! if not offer the service themselves! (as it would probably end up in a container anyway)

There are Roll On Roll Off (RO-RO) ferries .. I've sent a few mails but recieved nothing ..

I wanna get my old mans car out to him .. and would also be handy incase I wanna move out there ..

Wouldnt know what else to suggest, you could always get hold of a vehicle importer from his end, they maybe able to help, (ie like people bring japanese cars into this country, there may be a firm that takes british cars into Australia)

Hasnt OZ just changed its laws regarding the importing of vehicles??

i would suggest hiding it in the back of a lorry, and pass thru calais to start with,.......

the french have a knack for turning a blind eye to illegally loaded lorries! <_<

I seem to remember seeing ads for international shipping in the TNT magazine when I was living in London. The magazine is aimed at Aus, Kiwi & SA backpackers and people living in the UK on working holidays. Many of them land up buying loads of furniture, cars and other bits and pieces they want to take back home with them. The magazines are distributed nationally and I'm pretty sure they have a website with info.

If you want to keep costs down you may land up sharing a container with a couple of other people.

Also contact international couriers (Shipping agents) but they will be expensive. I used to use big international shipping agents to look after all our sound equipment being shipped around the globe on live music tours. These were generally very expensive though even for our industry.

It might be a good idea to give TCS a ring ( tilbury container services) they are pretty

good company, and probably charge you in the region of £450-500. which is good and in a container the car won't get bashed about.
