Advice Please On Replacement Radio

I've got a st205 98 import with the standard double din radio. I thinking of replacing it and know nothing about car radios. I've been looking at a new replacement car radio (single din). I've found a faceplate to which a single din will fit into. What i'd like advice on is there anything to consider regarding the plugs at the back of the unit. Is there a standard for these? Or more importantly do the celica import follow any particular standard on wiring?

all you will need is a toyota to iso plug. about £10 from audioleads or Halfords.

i would personally fix the single unit in place using the brakets supplied by toyota( for security reasons ) and buy a single din cubby hole to bolt to it , to take up the free space.

Thank you. That's perfect advice. Presumably the brakets you mention are already in place?
