Loose Cable & Vac Pipe

I was having a look around my engine bay of my ST205 today and i noticed a pipe was missing from what looks like a charge cooler overflow bottle, that white one to the right of the charge cooler. I've had a look for any hanging pipes but can't see any.

Also while looking around i found a loose earth cable, it goes from the n/s suspension turret and the other end was just hanging by the shift cables. I can't see where the other end goes. I removed it for now with no ill effects. The car's had a clutch done by Mr Clutch by the previous owner so i assume they've neglected to put these back.

hope someone can help.

thanx

The extra charge cooler overflow connection is normal should only have one pipe going back to the cc filler neck from the bottom of the overflow pot get most new owners that one :)

Earthing cable probably goes to the gearbox or transfer casing I'll have a look at mine if I get chance to confirm.

yep it goes to one of the 17mm headed bolts gearbox to engine block, but you can leave it off if you want as its a PITA to get to.

yeah forgottn how many times ive heard of the infamous missing pipe

Cheers for the replies.

I thought it would go to the gearbox casing.

Is that overflow for the cc coolant as it gets hot then, because it always seems to be empty.
