Avensis 2003 T4 Engine Resonance

Please please help, I have recently noticed an engine resonance / humming type sound coming from my 2003 2.0 litre t4 seq automatic touring , which I have owned for 6 months.

Checked oil and ok, it is only apparent when engine is warm and mostly noticeable when the engine is under stress for example uphill. 2000 rpm is about the rev when the Automatic changes gear and it doesnt matter how fast just around 1800 - 2000 rpm.

Could this be an exhaust resonance or something more sinister. If it is an engine problem with oil will I be covered by extended warranty. There is no change in performance or fuel consumption and the engine is quiet as a mouse at all other times apart from this rpm band.

If I do not accelerate to quickly it does not do it. All comments and suggestion greatly appreciated. Kind Regards James :crybaby:
