i've been scanning through the net for decent front speakers and i think this is the one of the best you can get B) :D

what do u guys think?? :)

I think you're likely to have to remove some plastic beneath the speaker mount to get the magnet to fit. I used Alpine 4" Speakers and managed to get away with only trimming the inside of the Toyota speaker covers

I'd like to know how to take the sodding OEM stereo out! There are no keys for it?!!

Perfect :) Ta very much

i bought these for my C1 but they were too deep for the recess! However, I did also go for the 6x9's in a customised rear shelf and they are fantastic!

In the end, i used a pair of rainbow Speakers for the front to give mid-range and tone witht eh rear 6x9 set into a 36mm MDF shelf and concealed underneath with speaker material. Certainly keeps the rain off the back windows!

I have the 4" loudest Speakers in the front and they are very good, amazing quality even at extremly high volumes!

Ok, I was thinking of infinty speakers- however what size front and what size rear do I need to ask for?

I was thinking of leaving the existing wiring in and just using it? Do I have to disconnect the Battery though? B)

Don't get those Sony's. Jeff, they won't do much justice. Goto a Halfords store and listen to some Speakers there and find out what YOU like the sound of most.

Just remember that the Speakers you will hear in Halfords (or most other places) are in a box, with a larger volume of air in than when dropped into the dash. Therefore, they will not necessarily sound the same when installed.

If you like Bass, you'd be better off with some rear shelf-mounted units.

I replaced my fronts with Pioneer 1076s - really good detail, but no bass.

Fitted an underseat subwoofer to fill in the bottom end - sounds nicely balanced now.

Any progress with changing your front Speakers yet?
