Service Indicator

Just a quick question, do our cars have a service indicator of any kind?

If so, how do you reset it? Car's just been serviced and don't think it will have been reset.

Cheers.

I didn't even get a warning when the car had no oil left. I just had to rely on the cough and shudder when I started the car :(

Was looking in my user manual for something else and stulbed on various interesting sections. The manual does mention specifically 'Service light' and then refers to another page but it's not listed at all. We have a host of other lights, engine, oil to name just two but there are loads. I can scan and post them up if required.

So the gist of it is we do not have a service light, but we have other lights should antyhing go wrong they will light up.

Cheers

Well clearly my oil light doesn't work as the level on the dipstick was about 5mm under the minimum level when I checked :(

Blown fuse perhaps? Although i think most of the dash lights all use one fuse.

i'll try and get the relevant pages scanned later tonight and post up.

cheers
