i have heard many times -- the bio diesel.

could you make clear what does it mean as BIO DIESEL ??? and how does it work as bio (?)

Bio Diesel is made from Vegetable oil, it is thin like diesel and can be used instead of, or mixed with diesel as you wish.

It is made from vegetable oil the long string molecule is broken down by a reaction using methanol and caustic soda (Lye). Its then separates into 2 liquids Bio diesel and soaps the waste is drained off the bottom and the remaining biodiesel is washed with water to remove any unwanted material.

It is made around the UK and sold for vehicle use the price can be 20p/litre if you make it yourself or 70p/ to 110p bought ready to go.

Waste oil fron chip friers makes good bio diesel more power than diesel is normal. many haulage companys use it.

The advantage is biodiesel is used as is.

Veg oil has to be hot and the engine hot, before switching over to straight veg oil (SVO) Two tank systems.

Or some mix in veg oil from the shops with diesel 20% perhaps for a small saving.

But push that mix too high and run the risk of veg oil in the sump oil!! stuck rings and no compression.
