Hey all,

Have to get a new engine for my 2000 Gen7 Celica (boo) and I am presently looking at a 1.8 vvti engine out of a Corrolla (I believe). This engine is a 1zz-fe, however I was wondering if there are any differences between this one, and the one in my Celica ? I know my Celica is 140bhp and the corrolla is meant to be 118bhp , Does anyone know why this difference in what appear to be the same engine ??

thanks.

Shaun.

hi

make sure the engine you are looking at is from a later model otherwise you could be buying an engine with the same problems as before or not much life left in it,but basically if it is a 1zz then it will be the same internally so long as you still got you old one you can swap any external parts before you fit it
