Looking GREAT M8, keep up with the good job. As for the TTE exhaust, i think the part number for the pre-facelift and facelift is the same  so im not sure if the exhaust will still sit bhind the rear bumper

Thanks mate, yeah already asked about the exhaust a while back, just didn't get round to ordering it. I can't remember where i got the cheapest quote from. lol Have to ask around again from different dealers. Price range was 230 to 250 i think.

The car looks great, well done B)

Thanks mate! The spending just doesn't stop with this car. off to south london now to get a new sub, amp, new door Speakers and possibly 2 X 6inch lcd monitors for the back seats. Keep my passengers in the back happy and stop leaning forward over my shoulder to watch the 7inch monitor up front. lol

cheers

Armz.

Didnt think the side skirts & rear bumper skirt were TTE, there jst OEM Toyota parts ??& as ^ ^ said not common here apart from facelift TS & some SE corolla's! The TTE exhaust is common lot of TS owners got them so i be going for a jap style custom exhaust when it comes to getting that done ! ;)

Facelift rearbumper looks great.

Don't like the tte parts because they're so common.. :(

Great job on the car Armz, well done.

Not wanting to sound thick  but I have no listing for a TTE silencer, either pre or post facelift, I can't see one on tte.de either, is there such a thing available for T Sport's? I have listings for other models but not T Sport, if anyone has any numbers I would be gratful

Thanks again guys.

Well not a good day for me, just got back from DynamicSounds (BudgetCarAudio) you can find these guys on eBay too. Drove down to south london, everything was great, bought my 2 rear monitors, new front Speakers, new amp, new sub everything. Salesman was all i could have wished for, everything i asked he catered for. Well. when it came to the amp and sub quick change as i have the wiring already in place the guy in the bodyshop for some reason decided to leave my driver door slightly ajar, wind must have blown it and wham, straight into the boss's wheel arch area.

I wasn't a happy bunny at that point. Few minutes later the boss came steaming round the corner effing and blinding about his car to me!. He was not interested in the slightest how it happened or what had happened to a customers car in their workshop premises during the booked in time.

'What you going to do about my car!?!?' To say i was shocked, appalled and not having any of that would be a understatement. 10 minutes of him shouting i decided to just leave with what i had purchased and left whatever work was not done as a 'write-off'.

Fo employees to be so unresponsible the boss should have had a go at him, not the customer!. I'm glad the damage to his car was so much, and so little to mine. Just a tiny paint chip on the door corner. I'm still furious that such people can display such a disgusting attitude towards paying customers. I had just paid 402 pounds for equipment 5mins prior to the boss letting ripp on me.

End of the day it's their loss as i was going to book my car for another 500+ worth of work and equipment. That idea is completely scrapped now.

Oh and as i was leaving i demanded all my parts i had paid for as i was taking them elsewhere to fit. The cheeky so and so's tried to hold back my two 5.8inch lcd monitors!. I had to physically walk into the back store room and pick up monitors up and walk back out. I was almost goign to call the police, but i had already wasted alot of time going there, waiting for my item to be fitted, then having to have to deal with the boss and his abuse. Not to forget the boss along with his 4 other cronies were starting to square up to me as if there was something that needed to be done. Hightly unprofessional.

Sorry about the rant, had to get it out of my system. Literally only had the car 24 hours out of the bodyshop for some silly w****r to mess it up. The whole time he kept quiet as the boss continued his tyrade.

I hope the boss likes his new big dent. Hopefully it will cost him a few hundred to fix. LOL!

Cheers

Armz.

Those sideskirts for pre-facelift are from tte.

I have also lots of tte parts.. frontlip, sideskirts, rear spoiler, grille, shortshifter, springs..

They where on the car when i bought it. They are pretty good looking but still too common.

I don't know how people can say TTE is common in uk, I have yet to physically see a car on the street with any TTE parts.

The closest i have come is seeing a corolla with a TRD Badge on, but even that wasn't TTE.

Maybe the common misconception is that becuase it's the european division for tuning that it will be very common in europe?

Going by that logic TRD would be too common in Japan?

I'm not biased to TRD or TTE or any other tuning company, but some parts look nicer than others, and it comes down to personal preference and taste.

Cheers

Thanks for the info, there must be an error on my system, when I type the part number in, it comes up as pre-face lift models only, when I look it up by vehicle, it's not listed, bizzaar

I always assumed there OEM toyota side skirts since its not listed on tte website nor does the Corolla demo car for TTE has side skirts on just the tTE grille, front lip & other TTE bits....

Some are fitted with these stlying kits as standard or he probably meant he only ever seen this brand on a toyota hence its common??saying that i seen quite alot of Lexus IS200 with TTE kits as with the occasional MR2, as i remember there was a special edition E12 corolla towards the end that had this kit fitted(same as fitted on the facelift TS) as standard i seen quite a few times either way most of time i seen this styling kit on a corolla is more than likely thats its fitted as standard as said earlier on SE models & i never seen a E12 corolla with another brand of body kit from manufacturers like ms design or postert, gd thing i not since i really not keen on them i only ever seen in pictures, the word chav....comes to mind!lol but your right saying TRD be common in japan im guessing u see them now & again if your in Asia if not 10 times a day!!! its just like Ford has RS styling kits which IS common here amongst the Fiesta/focus gang but manufacturers do tend to make replicas & sell at fraction of the cost for Fords rather Toyota!

My rolla is -04 and those sideskirts where fitted by some toyota dealer, when the car was brand new.

How can i have "facelift" sideskirts if there wasn't any facelift rolla's yet?

I think that they sold those sideskirts in tte, but when the facelift came out they went stock and they i are called "facelift sideskirts" ?

Dunno.. :)

Lol, westwood will be coming to me for help soon. haha. No but seriously, i wouldnt let those pimp my ride guys anywhere near my car. If you knew how much filler and bond they use, you'd never drive any car they work on. On the surface looks great, but underneath it's not made to last, the entire thing will be falling apart after a few months. Build quality is aweful and quality control or quality assurance does not exists with these guys. It's a made for tv show so we only get to see the car for 30mins after that anything could happen to it and we'd not know, infact they prefer it that way.

Great job on the car Armz, well done.

Thanks mate, but have to say a special thanks to you for helping me with most of the parts and all the little bolts/grommits and fixings. Without your most valuable help i wouldn;t have much of a parts list to help others and certainly wouldnt have been able to transform my car into a nicer looking CTS. Many thanks!.

Cheers for the silencer, can't remember if i already had that listed in my part numbers thread. Need to check, and if not will add.

I'm still fuming, but i'm glad my car suffered just a tiny chip. my bodyshop guy luckily is a very good person, so i can take it back to him whenever i want for a quick touchup/hard polish etc. Still the chip has only taken the very top laquer off by the looks of it, still blue underneath. If i saw bare metal i would have not left. Infact i would have returned every single item i had just bought, taken back my 402 pounds and promptly leave. There is no way i would have kept any of the items or paid them a penny for any work if it was worse. I would have made a huge fuss. and i mean huge. :ffs: Warned a customer who was dropping his car to 'watch out for these crooks, they damage your car then blame it on you' and he looked shooked and unsure of what to do.

I paid them 30 to fit the sub and amp which was a simple unplug old ones, plug new ones, i was being a bit lazy and asked them to do it. Granted they fitted it, but damaged the door, i didn't even hang around for it to be tuned properly. At the mo it sounds worse than my old same size sub which had a rip in it, powered with 1/3 amp power. So overall not happy after i've spent this much. Will get it properly tuned myself tomorrow if i can work it all out.

So i would say i am down probably half of the 30 fitting cost, and a chip to my door. He spent 10mins on my car while i watched him. I didn;t even ask/demand the boss repair my car and he was in full flow shouting mode. All i asked is 'what are we going to do about the damage to my car?'. It makes my blood boil that the job was half done, they damaged my car and on top of that they tried to keep the screens i had just paid for. Try and hope the customer forgets type thing. Absolutely outrageous!. I didn't know people with this kind of mentality still ran and owned businesses. They should have gone bust and jailed long time ago.

Just don't know why people must act so irresponsibly then blame others. I never remember society being like this 10 years ago. England has completely changed, for the worse.

The only plus side i can see to this is that the guy with the bad attitude has to spend money on his car being repaired. Hopefully it will cost him over 400 to fix it. That will be all the money i paid for my parts which he will have to pay out cos of the stupidity of his staff. What goes around comes around and seems to me today was the day he pays. lol  Still must not dwell on it, whats done is done.

So if anyone is looking for any car audio work done or to buy any kit, DO NOT go to BUDGETCARAUDIO (trading as that name online and through ebay) and the shop they are trading from is called DYNAMIC SOUNDS on WALWORTH ROAD, SE17 2NA. Mark the salesman is fantastic, every single other person i encountered there has their own agenda and are quite frankly DISHONEST CROOKS. If i knew the boss's name i would name and shame that sorry excuse of a person also. :censor:

cheers

Armz.

Toyota GB only take a few TTE items to sell in the UK, the don't sell a full range of TTE parts just a selected few, we don't do TRD either, which is a shame as we get lots or requests for TRD parts. I have to import them from the US which, to be ruthless, has no commercial benefit as we quite often got stung for import tax etc
