New 'rolla, First Mod

Howdy y'all! I've got some big(ish) plans for my slightly lame E11 liftback.. (I know its not as nice as all them with only 2 doors I wish I had! :P) but I'm gonna start off by giving her some shiny new shoes.

Now I've had some 17" Osaka alloys (by Ripspeed, but just like them ones by 100+) in my garage for what seems like years, waiting for the right car. First off, I'm just hoping the damn things fit ok. They should.. right?

Anyway, my main reason for posting this was to ask if this was possible:

OSAKA200.jpg

Those alloys are normally all that standard silver alloy finish, but I've edited them in photoshop (I'm a nerdy design student alright! :P) because I love the black on silver look. I've found a good company for powdercoating and painting alloys (www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk). I just want to know whether you guys think it's a good look, and if you all think it's possible, seeing as they're one-piece wheels.

Basicly just looking for opinions. Don't want my first 'rolla mod to be a big mistake, and most people on here know what they're on about  (Don't worry though, I'm not gonna butcher the car with daft OTT styling, thinking I'm in fast & furious or anything like that...)

Cheers,

-Jay

-Just a quick edit,

If anyone is looking for somewhere to refurb old/banged-up alloys then these seem like a good option: www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk

Thought I'd mention it just incase...
