Identifying An St205 Wrc

As per title, how do you identify the ST205-WRC from a normal ST205? Is it solely from the BLMVZ-A chassis code?

What are the differences by the way? I know a few, but not entirely sure how mnay differences there are.

Thanks :)

The one we just sold was a wrc and we were able to tell by the sprayjets fitted inside of the front bumper, antilag system by the intercooler on top of the engine and ours didnt have front fogs

Bonnet spoiler - but aftermarket fitted also .

the antilag is a dead give away , also the brass injector type things going into the manifold.

the wrc is slower than a normal stock st205 due to the weight of these extras. :P

Hi

The comment that WRC cars are heavier because of the additional kit is not true. There is some evidence that they are infact lighter as a result of reduced soundproofing, aluminium wings etc. (see www.gtfours.co.uk - So they should be quicker rather than slower (although the spoiler raising blocks do reduce top speed a bit)

Martyn

ST205 - yes a WRC owner

look for the anti lag pipes within the exaust manifold thats the easiest way to tell

simplest way is to look at the exhaust manifold, if it's a WRC then you'll see a hexagonal tap on the far left header, from cylinder 1.
