Avensis Problem

Please help.

I have an Avensis T2 D-4D (2006) Manual Diesel (1995c) with 20k on the clock.

At approximately 1400/1600 revs i am encountering a vibration/humming noise coming from the front left of the car. It is now getting progressively louder. I am unwilling to take it to my dealer (Yeomans Brighton) as very unhelpful.

Any indication of what the problem may be????

Sorry I cannot help you with what the noise is !!! but suggest you take it to another dealer in your area and let them sort it for you after all that is one of the benefits of having a new car

I ve the very same problem in my 2007 d4d cat 2.2 and they told me that is normal......to increase power there are some vibration!!!!! They said What can we do?

I had (i think) the same problem especially when i was accelerating and i visit several service centers.

Finally the last diagnosis was the left engine base..... They changed it and now is brand new....

I also had a vibration under the car and they told me that it was (i dont know the engllish word) the thing that connects the excaust with the katalyst...

I think its called manifold... they changed it as well
