Stability Control

Anyone know how to turn the stability control off, its doing my head in beeping at me all the time!

learn to drive then! i remember reading a long time ago on here you can turn it off - something like holding brake pedal down with ignition on for however many seconds. not sure how true it is but there was something on here telling you how to do it.

your not wrong wrong there mate! i was going a lil bit keen round a large roundabout then the vsc cut in and decided by braking the outer of the car to cut it in it nearly put me up the curb on the inside - the car wasnt unsettled but the vsc decide it was best! it was very strange sensation when you know all is well and the front of your car suddenly pulls in and you have to compensate for something thats suppose to help you. it never beeped though! good throttle control and entry angle stops this - mine never beeps apart from when i first got the car i delibrately made it beep to see if it worked. STOP DRIVING LIKE A HOOLIGAN AND PUT SOME SMOOTHNESS INTO YOUR SPEED - YOULL BE A LOT QUICKER!

smoothness, speed, thats the easy bit, sideways (controlled) in a front wheel drive car.......thats the tricky bit, especially with blinky flashing away! or vsc as toyota call it!

Stability control can't be turned off which is real pain. So are all the other annoying beeps - reverse beep, seat belt beep, headlights on beep and oh no I left the key in the ignition and opened the door - BEEP!!

ah i thougt it was just me moaning bout the beeps! surely there must b a fuse kicking about for the buzzer thing!

i know - the horn sounds gay n french! its evan embarassing letting on to your mates. my seatbelt doesnt beep but apparenly they should - dont bother me wouldnt drive without one. the worst is when you cleaning inside and you want some tunes on - beep beep .............................
