alright guys im heading to look at a uk n/a 1991 mr2 on friday completly std apart from rev2 turbo rims.

what should i be checking for when i go to drive it etc. what bhp should these have? and do they have toblerones?

and if i do go ahead and buy it then hello lol ill prob be on here a lot. :D

Uk Spec MR2's dont have tobes.

BHP is 158 unless its the lower Camery spec with is around 110BHP..

If its a T-Bar then it is likely to have a leak, most of them do!

Just general car rules apply really, listen for knocks and bangs!

There's NO reason a Tbar shoud leak. Easy sorted.

I think the rev 1s (assuming it is a rev 1) had smaller brakes, but you can retro-fit the later brakes to them.

spot on guys cheers. thank god they dont have toblerones lol aye its the 158bhp model. on another note where do i get a sub box and sub that fits behind the seat?

158bhp has bags of pull round town.. it still puts a smile on my face!

Whats wrong with tobes??!!! HOT IMPORT LOOK!!!

I have a sub/amp combo and stuffed it behind the passenger seat... there is a fair bit of space if the seat isnt wound all the way back so plenty for a custom box.
