Ashtray On T Spirit

I cannot get the ashtray to open. I know there is nothing caught in it.

This might sound daft but yes I have tried pushing it - sliding it - swearing at it - it's now going back to the garage as it is only 18 months old. It's not the ashtray I'm after, it's power to charge my phone.

If you have a T-Spirit, there is another accessory socket on the back of the centre console. :)
