I Get A Beep

Just spotted the other post about the annoying beep being caused by the temperature.

I get a beep sometimes whilst driving and don't know why. After coming from a french car that shows the fault on the display it's a bit annoying not knowing where it is coming from ??

Anyone have any ideas ?

If you willingly chose a diesel 5 door RAV, then you basically are unaware of the complexity of running an oil burner on the road, in which case talk to your Trading Standards people.

If you still experience a beep, I'd arrange an appointment with your GP or Flatulist.

In the meantime, ask your pharmacist about taking paraffin products to solve your flatulence.

No really it was a sensible question honest ;) .

I reckon it's the gf but she reckons not, So it must be the rav.

But I may get some paraffin tablets just in case it gets any colder to chuck in the tank to stop my diesel waxing up

Just a thought, quite a few RAV head units beep when they switch to an RDS traffic broadcast (well both mine have done it).

Of course, if you don't have the radio switched on, it isn't that :D. It will do it though, even with the volume turned right down.
