Gt4 Power Trouble

Hi I have an st205 that seems to be running a little lumpy almost like its missing......When you boot it you don't notice it so much. Has anyone had this trouble before?? I am putting some new plug leads on tomorrow (plugs already done) and checking the dizzy but someone also mentioned the intercooler? Any help greatly received Ta
