Stuck Ignition Key

Hi all

I have a big problem.The ignition key is stuck in the barrel.I have stripped down the dash to try to take out the barrel but can't find a way of undoing the weird looking nuts.Does anybody have ideas

Its not to do with the lock barrel, its to do with the gear selector switchs, that is why disconnecting the Battery sorts it.
