Merry Christmas to all forum users.

I had a look on the Toyota Technical document website for any info on my 95 Rav4 and could not find anything for any model of Rav4 pre 2000. My code (SXA10) doesn't even appear in the list.

Is this right or am I missing something.

I believe you are right. The 4.1 model is too early for the publications website.

You will find that bothy (Bothwell Buyer) is the mighty oracle on those things and having pull one down to its component parts, there isn't much he doesn't know about one (although he knows very little about anything else).

I'm sure you can rely on him to share his extensive experience, just don't get too close because like most wild creatures he can bite.

Thanks for confirming that Anchorman. I was going to do a service this weekend but the Haynes manual I ordered hasn't arrived yet.

Bothy has been very helpful already and I'm sure I'll be calling on his extensive knowledge in the future..... and I'll watch for those teeth :)
