T Sport Alarm Problem -

Recommended Posts

Last night my T Sports alarm kept randomly going off throughout the night eg 8, 12, 3 o'clock etc.

I have deactivated it as a temporary fix, but I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas on what the probem is, and if so how to fix it.

It's still under warranty, so would the best option be to take it back to the dealership and see if they can solve the problem.

Cheers guys

Lots of threads on this Demo.

Problem is usually faulty or badly adjusted bonnet sensor, or else keys/coins left near the sensor in the facia / centre console.

Have a search and you'll find loads of stuff on it.

Thanks for your help T600

You're welcome.

Look in Celica section too; the Gen 7 has the same alarm I believe, though it doesn't seem to have the same problems with the bonnet sensor that the Rolla has. My money would be on the bonnet sensor with the Rolla, but keys / coins still a possibility.

Good luck.

cordless door bells are also a common problem. A few people have found that their neighbour's recently fitted door bells seemed to trigger off the car alarm. But unless your neighbour is Kate Moss or a drug dealer then I doubt they would have people leaning on the doorbell at 3am.
