Merry Christmas to all on this forum. I have part exchanged my T4 53 plate Avensis so I may not be writing any more about my Avensis experience any more on the forum.

The price I managed to get for my immaculate Avensis was much less than I wanted. I have purchased a second hand Toyota PRIUS T Spirit. 2000 miles on the clock. 75 plate.

Toyota dealers were very polite and courteous. After I signed the deal with one dealer the other dealer said they could have done a deal for the same cash for a brand new car. I wish they had told me sooner; still it is done now. It pays to shop around and wait. I was bit too hasty perhaps.

I also put in with the deal my wife's Carina L plate. So we are now a one family car with only £15 a year road tax.

I hope I will be as pleased with the Prius as I was the Avensis.

Thanks for all the helpful Avensis comments etc I will look in from time to time.

Good luck with your PRIUS but just because you have sold your Avensis you will still be able to give other members of the TOC Avensis forum the benefit of your experience and when petrol reaches £2-00 a litre you can ask us why are we making a fuss at the price of petrol :D
