Sr180-auris Now Soon Rav4?

This one is really aimed at Kingo. I,ve been on their website today ( Lindrop Toyota) and low and behold the Auris T180 has been dropped for the "new" SR180. Looks like Toyota Motorsport has got their hands on one and added a sporty look to it.What I would like to know is are Toyota going to do this to the Rav T180 and rename it SR180 or is it just a model name change for the Auris? By the way it looks very tasty

There are no new models at Toyota for 2008 except for V8 Landcruiser, everything goes mad in 2009. I can see lots of facelifts and minor model changes for 2008, just to keep the lineup fresh for a whole year. SR is a feature model, and I can't say if it's a T180 replacement, I just don't know at this moment, but it would be silly to run two models competing against each other so who knows. If it's a success, you may see more SR180 models, but that is a guess, manufacturers get twitchy when they have no new models coming and they always find ways of sprucing up the model lineup

Kingo that SR180 is one nice looking car, especially in WHITE..........very cool............

On another note...see my first new BMW M3 V8 the other day...of course it was in the fast lane going....!Removed! fast right up some one's A*** :eek: .....but also in white and looked gorgeous...

Any way back on topic....Toyota make a WHITE RAV T180 Sport like the one I saw at the last Brittish motor show....

There might have been one for the show, but white is not available on a T180 today. You can get an XT3 XT4 and XT5 in white. Sorry to dissappoint, you will have to get an SR Auris instead :D:

I'm not sure if you'll wanna buy the Auris SR, as according to 4 CAR it goes from 0-60 in 78.1 seconds....

Even Honka's go quicker than that

Yes I did read it, a good read it was too, I tried to make it short and sweet with a model code and year but when discussing Wiper Blades, Fujisan noticed my 4.3 MK2 typo, I knew what I meant, it's a pity I couldnt type what I knew, if you know what I mean......
