Removal Of Radio From 2005 Corolla

hi all

I know this topic has been covered before but i was just wondering

i drive a 2005 Corolla e12 facelift terra 1.4 d-4-d spec as its an irish car it doesnt have air con climate control etc

like the t2 and t3 in corollas from gb

I have removed the gearstick gator and plastic removed the two screws on either

side bottom left and right

I tried to gently pull the centre console out but nothing

Is there a screw behind the controls for heater or should i just be

a bit braver and really pull the centre console

pull of the center heater control and remove the screw then pull the consol off

On the same lines of this. Can anyone recommend a fascia replacement unit that definitely fits a 55 plate.

The 'audio specialist' people I took my corolla too seemed to think that the replacement fascia they had didn't have the right 'curve'.
