i've done a coolant change today but i'm a bit confused.i drained the system down and only about 5 litres flushed through, and on re-filling it only took about 5 litres but the technical sheet says 9 litres, if anyone can shed some light on where the other 4 litres may be and how to get it out it will much appreciated.

Thanx

Did you open the block drain plug, also the front and rear heaters need to be empty to make the 9 ltrs.

i took off the bash plate and some sort of rad which had no water in it, undid the plastic screw tap and drained the water, not sure where to find the block drain plug or how to empty heaters,if you can help it will be much appreciated

Thanx.

You cant drain the heaters as such, so the best way to flush them is remove the hoses at the bulkhead and flush them through with a garden hose, make sure both are set to hot.

Block drain plug is just in front of the starter motor passenger side.
