if you hold the button and it beeps this resets your average then u can get an accurate reading next time u fill up

its the button on the bottom right of the stereo unit

i wouldn't go by the gauge on the radio, its not accurate at all. for example just a slight variation in tyre pressure will effect your MPG due to bigger radius and also less rolling resistance.

i found the mpg comp very accurate - it knows how much petrol it is supplying to the engine and calculates from distance travelled. if your tyres are underinflated youll have to put your foot down more to compensate. my mpg reading dropped when my airfilter was dirty!

not sure - wouldnt be much in it i dont think, i was talking more of rolling resistence. i keep my tyre pressures correct anyway - weekly check usually need to add a psi or 2.

ive noticed lately my front tyre looks fairly flat i shall fill up tomorrow, what psi should they be ? also what about the back ?

Correct PSI for various conditions will be either inside the door jam, or else in your glove compartment Daz.

Should be in the handbook too, but usually on any Lexus or Toyota it's on a sticker in one of the above two locations too.
