Previa Wiring?

Hi all,

I am hoping for some expert advice from you guys - regarding my 'L' reg previa and its wiring. I recently bought the vehicle and immediatly removed the stereo in order to fit one with a display you can read !! A simple task or so I thought. It would appear that the previous owner had had hours of fun cutting all the wires from the original multi plugs and crossing and bridging speaker wires all over the place. This allowed him to wire his stereo using two outputs. I tried to fit my stereo (with four outputs) with limited success, after much deliberation all i could do was copy what he has done and use two of my four outputs - not a very clever idea, I know. I am therefore asking if anyone would know what colour wire is what? With this knowledge I could maybe correct the previous owners adventures !! :(
