My t-spirit sat nav has just started showing the screen message "can not read DVD". The garage where I bought the car want about £150 just to investigate the problem and if it needs replacing the cost will be £2700 (yes thats right two thousand seven hundred). Furthermore, the manual does not tell you how to eject the DVD.

Does anyone have any ideas, apart from buy a Tom Tom from Halfords

move passenger seat to most forward position.

look under seat from behind.

cannot remember if there's some trim you need to pull off to reveal the CD slot and eject button.

press eject button and DVD should eject from drive.

carefully clean and replace.
