Engine Coolant

just checked my oil etc the coolant is sitting just above the low mark hence i thinks i need some in.

were can i pick some up.... is it the likes of Halfords that i go to and what do i need to pick up.

are the diffrent colours...different strenghts or grades

any help greatfully appreciated

hi,yes you can get the coolant from Halfords,it's red coolant in my compressor so your t-sport will be the same.

cheers for that have jus picked some up from Halfords went for the red stuff as is a close to the same colour as whats in already

Get a litre bottle from Toyota.

In theory it shouldn't matter which coolant you use but Japanese cars can be quite sensitive to it.

I have to do a coolant change and brought a 5ltr bottle from toyota and they gave me the freen for the t sport.

There are 2 types - you can use either.

I think green is super long life. You can change it less frequently. But it costs more.

I think you need 6.7 litres too rather than 5.

Which means you're better buying 1x 5l and 2x1l. But I don't think they do 1l size in the super long life stuff. So it works out even more expensive.

red my owners manual last night appears the red stuff is the super long life but then again there are diffrent manufactuers whono doubt will do things in different colours just to confuse us even more
