 Hope someone can help mje in my hour of need.

I need to remove the rear window winders in my Toyota Corolla t3 (2003) to fit new Speakers eventually

1: do they just pull off with a bit of force.

2: do i need to remove the plastic strip before removing the door winder?

or is there an easier way i downloaded a pdf from http://www.customice.co.uk/assets/applets/...ew_speakers.pdf

but it dont tell you how to get the winders off.

Many thanks all ;)

I think there wil be some kind of thin wire circlip holding the winder to the shaft. You should be able to see it in the gap if you look from the side and push the trim out slightly.

If that's what you've found, one of the best ways to get the circlip off is to hold a piece of cloth either side of the winder and slide it between the winder and door trim to pop the circlip off.
