My N/a Spits Flames.

Had my new exhaust for about 8 months now and I can always get it to do a popping sound when I back off the revs after booting it a bit, well my brother followed me to my house tonight and he says it is shooting flames.

Is it over fueling to cause this, its a really loud exhaust with no CAT.

It's proper fun I tell u!

Excess fuel once you've backed off gets burnt in the exhaust on the way out when the exhausts hot enough. Would have previously burnt up in the cat. Turbo's tend to do it more so than normally aspirated I thought.

I notice it on mine after a hard run down a dual carriageway in the dark for example. Back off the throttle, a second later the rear view and wing mirrors light up orange! Think the methanol helps there too though! Pops and bangs too. Scares people when it does it when pootling through town.

I need someone to drive behind me while Im in my Merc to see if it spits any flames (probably wont but it sounds like it :) ). When you put you foot down and change gear at about 5000 revs you get a nice exploding sounding Pop. or when going down gears (eg 3rd to 2nd at about 3000 revs) you get loads of pops and bangs :) . its has a Full straight threw system + De Catted.

Flames are great :)

You think that's good? Get a turbo car, it gets batter! lol.

I could make my pulsar pop HUGE flames out the back of my car very easily. Some mates were following me on b roads and were scared to get too close to the back of the car! lol.

I'm looking to get the silencers cut out of my exhaust and change the racing cat for a decat so I can get some flames out the back of the skyliner! :D
